A lot of color. Even more heart.

When the pandemic changed the world, it also changed what people needed from the fashion industry.

For House of Perna, the question became: What can we make that will help?

We launched a Buy One, Donate One mask initiative, using our design and production resources to help provide protective face coverings during a time of extraordinary uncertainty.

Thousands of masks were donated, while production helped keep skilled manufacturing teams working.

Amanda also partnered with Hearst Publications to share tutorials and free sewing patterns, helping people make masks themselves.

Those resources gave people access to a practical skill at a moment when so much felt beyond their control.

For some, sewing became a way to help protect loved ones. For others, it offered a way to contribute to their communities or earn income during a difficult time.

What began as a response to an immediate need became one of the clearest expressions of what we've always believed.

Creativity is a resource.

And sometimes the most important thing you can make is something someone else needs.

We believe imagination changes lives.

And that every child deserves opportunities to discover what they're capable of.

That's why education, literacy and youth development have remained close to our hearts.

Amanda co-chaired Laugh with the Library, helping raise funds to support literacy and access to educational resources.

House of Perna has also supported the Delray Chamber Education Fund and the Child Literacy Coalition, organizations working to expand opportunities for children and families.

We know the difference a teacher, a mentor, a book or a creative experience can make.

Sometimes all it takes is one person encouraging a child to see something in themselves they haven't discovered yet.

That possibility is worth investing in.

Community is more than the place where you live.

It's the people who show up for one another.

Amanda's involvement with the YMCA reflects her belief in creating opportunities for children and families to learn, grow, connect and thrive.

Through board service, fundraising and leadership, she has helped support programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

Her work has included chairing the YMCA's 25th Anniversary Gala and helping bring people together around the organization's mission.

Amanda has also served in leadership roles with the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce and Achievement Centers for Children and Families.

These commitments reflect something we care deeply about: helping build a community where businesses, families, educators, nonprofits and creative people can support one another.

Because when a community grows stronger, everyone benefits.

Fashion can be a powerful way to start a conversation.

It can also be a way to stand beside someone during one of the most difficult experiences of their life.

House of Perna has supported breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiatives, including the creation and donation of a handcrafted couture bra and participation in Go Pink.

Amanda has also chaired Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, helping rally community support for research, awareness and the women and families affected by the disease.

These causes remind us that behind every fundraiser are real people.

Mothers. Daughters. Sisters. Friends. Neighbors.

People whose lives are changed by a diagnosis, and whose journeys deserve compassion, resources and support.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to organizations doing this essential work.

We believe beautiful things should have a life beyond their original purpose.

Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity ReStore, House of Perna has contributed curated finds and donated backstock to help raise funds supporting Habitat's work.

It's an approach that brings together two things we value: making thoughtful use of resources and supporting families working toward stable housing.

A garment or object can have another chapter.

And sometimes that next chapter can help create a home.

Some of the most wonderful things happen when people gather around a table and make something together.

No competition. No expectations. Just imagination, conversation and the satisfaction of creating something with your own hands.

We've supported community creativity through events and workshops, including donating time and supplies for a witch-hat decorating experience connected to the Witches Ride.

We believe creative experiences have a special ability to bring people together.

They invite us to try something new, meet someone different and remember the pleasure of making things simply because we enjoy it.

That same spirit lives on through Camp Perna and the creative experiences we host.

Because art shouldn't feel like something reserved for a select few.

It should be part of everyday life.

One of the things we love most about fashion is how differently it comes to life on different people.

A garment may begin as a drawing, but it doesn't truly have a story until someone wears it.

Amanda has long championed the idea that fashion should celebrate real people, not simply an idealized version of them.

Through her work emceeing and styling fashion shows for PCMA, she's helped bring real people onto the runway, celebrating their personalities, stories and individuality.

She also helped create a fashion show at Alt Summit featuring real women as models.

These experiences are about more than clothing.

They're about the joy of seeing people celebrated exactly as they are.

And the belief that fashion becomes more interesting, meaningful and beautiful when more people are part of it.

We are proud to call South Florida home.

And we believe the creativity, entrepreneurship and cultural life of our community deserve to be celebrated far beyond its borders.

Through collaborations with Discover The Palm Beaches, Amanda has helped showcase the region's fashion, creativity and experiences to broader audiences.

These partnerships give us an opportunity to celebrate the people and places that have helped shape the House.

And to remind the world that remarkable creative work can come from anywhere.

Amanda's work beyond the atelier includes speaking to audiences about creativity, entrepreneurship, resilience, individuality and the courage it takes to build a life that feels authentically your own.

She shares not only the beautiful milestones, but also the difficult decisions, unexpected setbacks and lessons that come with building a creative business.

Because success stories are more useful when we tell the whole story.

We hope those conversations encourage others to pursue their own ideas, make room for creativity and recognize that a meaningful career or life rarely follows a perfectly straight line.

We're proud of the organizations we've supported, the relationships we've built and the work we've been invited to be part of.
