THE HOUSE OF PERNA STORY

House of Perna is not a boutique. It is a fashion house built on the conviction that original design, joyful color, and emotional intention are not in conflict with one another. They are, in fact, the only combination worth building.

Founded in NY. Based in Delray Beach. Designed for women who are done blending in.

Fashion has always been about recognition. Not trends. Not status. The moment a woman puts on something and finally sees herself fully, unapologetically staring back.

That is what House of Perna exists to create.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

ABOUT AMANDA PERNA

Amanda Perna is an American fashion designer, author, and creative director whose work sits at the intersection of original textile design, joyful maximalism, and the radical belief that women deserve to be seen.

Amanda studied fashion at the University of Alabama before continuing at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She trained under some of American fashion's most demanding standards, designing at Calvin Klein and interning at Oscar de la Renta, before making the deliberate choice to build something of her own.

In 2012, she founded House of Perna in Delray Beach, Florida. What began as a design studio has become a 14-year body of work spanning original print development, small-batch ready-to-wear collections, experiential activations, and a creative community of thousands of women across the country.

Her work has been recognized on two seasons of Project Runway and featured in Elle, Forbes, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Travel + Leisure, and Good Housekeeping, among others.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

DESIGNED TO BE RECOGNIZED

Every House of Perna collection begins as original artwork. Amanda designs her own prints, developing color stories, drawing patterns, and directing textile development before a single garment is cut. The result is not fashion that borrows from trends. It is fashion with a specific emotional intention.

The intention is recognition. We design for the woman who has spent years wearing clothes that almost fit who she is. Our job is to close that gap. To create pieces so specific in color, confidence, and construction that the woman who wears them feels, perhaps for the first time, completely herself.

Every collection is produced in small batches, with custom limited-edition prints, zero shortcuts, and the kind of care that does not scale with fast fashion. We make less so every piece means more.

THE WORK DOESN'T STOP AT THE SEAM

INDUSTRY IMPACT

Amanda's influence extends beyond her collections. She is a sought-after speaker on fashion entrepreneurship, creative courage, and the power of building a brand rooted in authentic vision. She mentors emerging designers through her studio, speaks to audiences across the country, and has spent 14 years building one of South Florida's most recognizable independent fashion labels from the ground up.

She serves on the boards of the YMCA, Achievement Centers for Children and Families, and the Delray Beach Chamber Advisory Board, and has used House of Perna as a platform to support over 100 nonprofit organizations. To her, fashion is not separate from community. It is one of the most powerful tools for it.
